'''Alaala Ni Alina''' Arthur goes back to his deceased wife’s hometown, bringing her ashes with him. He stays at the family’s pension house where he meets Manang and Carol, his wife’s mother, and tells them about Alina’s passing. Through his conversations with the ever-accommodating Manang, he discovers what happened to the household after his wife’s departure. During his stay, he witnesses hallucinations of a ghostly teenage girl. He eventually discovers who this girl is and reveals Carol’s true feelings about her daughter. ''Alaala Ni Alina'' tells the story of a transgender man who realizes that the acceptance he seeks lies within him, and not so much from those around. All this time, he was burdened by the fact that he, himself, could not forget and move forward from the memories of Alina.
