==Activities== ---- For the past years, the organization has successfully sponsored its own “first-of-its-kind” annual events. To mention a few:
* '''Alay sa Inhinyero''' – a yearly recognition night for the outstanding faculty in the college, who have showcased excellence and passion in their chosen fields, considering their teaching effectiveness, research experiences, and service contributions to the college;
* '''Engineering Symposium''' - aims to promote the different fields of engineering to high school students and the career paths that could branch out from these to encourage them to pursue one;
* '''Acoustic Jameng’g''' – first held in August 2001, is a college-wide acoustic band competition coupled with a concert, featuring recognized and distinguished bands and celebrities in and out of the campus; and
* '''Eng’g Soccer''' – a soccer tournament presented with a twist and held in support of the Engineering Week handled by the Engineering Student Council.

Through these innovative events, the UP Engineering Society has lived up to its name and motto. Building bridges and breaking barriers – this had been the vision of the founders of the organization, and this will remain to be the ultimate goal of the members of the same organization.
