This thesis explores the concepts of women’s motherhood, mothering and mother-daughter relationships through the progressive horror genre narrative.&lt;br /&gt;

Ina visits their desolate ancestral house before putting it up for sale. Just as she is about to leave, her car breaks down, forcing her to stay and relive her last memory of the house. In this memory, an impending confrontation ultimately culminates in a family event and ends tragically.&lt;br /&gt;
