'''ABSTRACT'''

Borlagdatan, Ezra C. (2015). Sa ‘Di Pagparam, Unpublished Undergraduate Thesis, University of the Philippines College of Mass Communication, 2015.

Sa ‘Di Pagparam tells the story of Domingo, an old man in his early 80s, recounting a tale of his childhood during World War II in Bataan. Residing in a nursing home, he shares his story with Celine, a resident caregiver on her last day of work.

The film is a story of longing and lingering regrets for the past. Using magical realism as a tool of postcolonial discourse to push the narrative forward, it places the main character in two conflicting worlds or spaces, that of his past and of his present.
