Linux (at least with Linpus distro, it works)&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Step 1. $ sudo yum install vpnc&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Step 2. $ sudo vim /etc/vpnc/default.conf&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Enter and save the following:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
  IPSec gateway vpn.upd.edu.ph&lt;br /&gt;
  IPSec ID vpn.upd.edu.ph&lt;br /&gt;
  IPSec secret &amp;lt;mysecret&amp;gt; (Your group password. Get it from UPCC)&lt;br /&gt;
  Xauth username &amp;lt;username&amp;gt; (same as your UP Webmail account name)&lt;br /&gt;
  Xauth password &amp;lt;password&amp;gt; (your password. Get it from UPCC)&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Step 3. Download and unzip http://www.twimba.com/blogs/luis/wp-content/uploads/2008/08/tun.zip&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Step 4. $ sudo cp tun.ko /lib/modules/2.6.23.9lw/kernel/drivers/net/&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Step 5. $sudo depmod&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Step 6. $sudo vpnc default&lt;br /&gt;

To confirm UP vpn access, ping a machine (example: 10.32.1.7) within Dilnet.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
